Is the retirement age of commercial airlines pilot varies from country to country?

In case yes, do you feel there should become a standardized retirement age for commercial airlines pilot across the globe?

Thanks & Regards,

In 1959 the Federal Aviation Agency adopted the age 60 rule for the forced retirement of commercial airline pilots.

I can't speak for all countries, but in the USA and Canada, it's 65.

The mandatory retirement age of airline pilots is 65. The Fair Treatment for Experienced Pilots Act (Public Law 110-135) went into effect on 13 December 2007, raising the age to 65 from the previous 60.

So it is varying from country to country?

Absolutely, different countries have different requires, as they're governed by different organizations.

No, this doesn't give the airline industries across the globe any autonomy, and there's no scientific evidence that suggests one value fits all members of society.
