Hi! May someone assist me with solving this problem? I

1) Calculate the distance from point R(17,5) to the line y     1/2x  3. Round to the nearest tenth of a unit.

I’m not sure how to approach this question. Also very confused on the form that the equation of the line is written in. It doesn’t have the very obvious y=mx+b familiarization to me.  Crying Face

The question doesn't say from which point along the line equation provided, so I used the y-intercept (0,3).

Personally, I think there's something wrong with the question
