If water is sealed into a flexible plastic bottle in the Sierras at an elevation of 8500 feet, leaving some air in the top of the bottle, what will happen to the bottle when it is transported to sea level?

▸ The external pressure on the bottle at sea level will be higher than it was in the mountains, so the bottle will be somewhat crumpled.
