Three regular 6-sided dice are rolled and the sum is taken.

Enumerate for me (write down and count) the possible outcomes.

How many possible outcomes are there?

What is (are) the most likely outcome(s)? What is (are) the least likely outcome(s)? Show some evidence.

This one is tricky to answer. From one of your previous questions, we learned that getting all the same and getting two the same and 1 different are the rarest.

Hence, any combination where there are duplicates are less likely to occur, for example, (1, 1, 2) or (4,4,5), etc.

The one's where all three are different are more likely.

1,2,3=6
1,2,4=7
1,2,5=8
1,2,6=9

1,3,2=6
1,3,4=8
1,3,5=9
1,3,6=10

1,4,2=7
1,4,3=8
1,4,5=10
1,4,6=11

1,5,2=8
1,5,3=9
1,5,4=10
1,5,6=11
