Would you recommend that a person who has lost their spleen in an accident get vaccinated against Haemophilus Influenzae ?

Yes. The major consequence of not having a spleen is a susceptibility to bacteremia, usually caused by the encapsulated bacteria Streptococcus pneumonia or Haemophilus influenza. Hence, it would be wise to have the vaccine.
