I've recently learned that some bacteria use Bacterial Photosynthesis. Is this for CyanoBacteria? not for other bacteria right?

Wait a minute. Noncylcic photophosphyerlation is used by cyanobacteria. So I was wrong in my post. But why do bacteria need ATP then?

Energy source. ATP is used by nearly all organisms.

ohhh im being dumb. Bacteria are living organisms but Viruses arent. I read online somewhere by someone who answered a question that bacteria dont need ATP.

thanks for ur clarification. One other thing. for the cyclic process, what photosystem is being used? its not in my notes.

For non cyclic I know which ones are being used. But for the cyclic process, its not labelled in the video I watched which photosystem is used. Since I see plastocyanine as the enzyme, can I assume photosystem 1 is used here?
