Following the global financial crisis of 2008, many economists who were once avid globalization supporters became some of the most outspoken critics due to its systemic risks. The struggles of many countries dealing with the impacts of COVID-19 has likewise resulted in an increasing number of leaders and citizens taking an anti-globalization stance. Do you agree that the time has come to slow down or reverse globalization? If yes, how would that be accomplished? If no, why not?
