A patient says, "I just had a kidney transplant 2 days ago. Now the doctor says I have to go on dialysis for 2 weeks. I don't understand all of this." How should the nurse respond?
1. "Your transplant was not successful, so dialysis is necessary."
2.  "Because your transplant was not from a living donor, it may take a while for the kidney to recover."
3. "We told you about this before surgery. Don't you remember?"
4. "I'm afraid your kidney was not a good match. We have to support you with dialysis while we look for another kidney to transplant."
