This separation by highway results into allopatric speciation.

After separation species starts to adapt according to environmental conditions.

In year 1 large population is dark green-coloured.

After 100 year population have some light green-coloured frog also.

As frog species separated by highway they adapt some changes according to environmental conditions or by natural selection.

After some more years of separation right side show dark green population and left side show light green population (according to favourable conditions) and two distinct species seen in different areas.
