After the surgical removal of thyroid gland, our body can no longer to make thyroid hormones it needs. So there is a need to take thyroid hormone(levothyroxine) pills to replace the natural and it helps to maintain normal metabolism

By giving higher than normal doses of thyroid hormones, TSH levels can be kept very low. This should slow the growth of any remaining cancerous cells and lower the cancer of thyroid cancers.

To Increase the rate of metabolism and decrease TSH levels
