Sadie is going to see a movie and is taking her four kids. each movie ticket costs $15 and there are an assortment of snacks available to purchase for $4.50 each. How much total money would Sadie have to pay for her family if she were to buy 6 snacks for everybody to share? How much would Sadie have to pay if she bought x snacks for everybody to share.

The cost of the movie tickets for Sadie and her four kids is 4+1 = 5 tickets. Therefore, the cost for the tickets is 155 = $75.
The cost for the six snacks would be 64.5 = $27.
So the total amount of money Sadie would have to pay for her family is 75 + 27 = $102.

If Sadie wants to buy x snacks for her family, the cost would be x*4.5 = $4.5x.
So, the total amount of money Sadie would have to pay for the tickets and the snacks would be 75 + 4.5x.
