Why the HIV Western blot is a more specific test than the indirect ELISA for HIV?

The Western blot is more specific because you are looking at separated antigens and specifically how they react with antibodies rather than a mixture of antibodies.

Refer to Activity 2: Comparing Samples with Ouchterlony Double Diffusion.
Did you think human serum albumin and bovine serum albumin would have epitopes in common?

Human serum albumin and bovine serum albumin did have partial identity because they had a single spur form. This indicated that they had epitopes in common.
