I had my MBA entrance exams for which I had to study lots.
As it turned out, I have screwed my body clock, and I can't get more than 3 hours of sleep every day.
I tried taking some sleeping pills but then i figured it would have some ill effect too.
Any pointers are welcome as to how to eat healthy and sleep.
I can use any help I get here.

Not a good choice to make, especially for a logical thinker like yourself!

Are you still studying at the moment, or is school done for now?

Are you working currently? I'm asking because stress is always a contributing factor to a lack of sleep.

Firstly, sleeping pills are merely a band-aid to this issue. Your lack of sleep is due to weeks of sleep time inconsistency, this is causes a shift in your circadian rhythm (bodily clock). To reassure that your bodily clock is reset, you have to dedicate two or three nights to sleeping at the same time, that is, force yourself to go to bed at the same time every night for three days straight - don't worry, it gets easier as the days progress. Sleep is controlled by the release and secretion of melatonin, which is made up of tryptophan (amino acid). This is naturally found in dairy products, such as cheese and milk. Therefore, drink yourself a glass of warm milk one hour before bedtime, and this could help in the production of melatonin.
