Men and women are physiologically very similar.
The penis and clitoris come from the same embryonic tissue.
They differ in size but not in sensitivity.
Arousal and orgasm in men and women is physiologically the same.
Women have a greater capacity for sexual response because they are able to have repeated orgasms.
Just as Kinsey underestimated women’s sexual capacity, Masters and Johnson overestimated it.
Their research was limited by the selection of a sample consisting only of men and women who were easily orgasmic.
They did not investigate how people’s physiological responses might vary according to their age, experience, and culture.
Thus, they overlooked individual differences.
