What was the difference, if any, between the speed and scope of recruitment of free blacks and slaves by the British army, and by the American army during the Revolutionary War?
A) There British army recruited many free blacks quickly but abstained from recruiting runaway slaves, and the American army recruited neither free blacks nor runaway slaves.
