Hey Lilly, cool question. Have you heard of the woolly mammoth? It's an extinct elephant that went extinct nearly 10 000 years ago. Well apparently they want to introduce it back into the world lol by using frozen mammoth cells. They predict that they will have it done within the next 5 years. Mind you that this is the most current project. Since mammoths lived in the polar regions of the earth, their carcass surprisingly is still preserved and frozen.

I think if you talk about this in your answer, you will be on the right track. Basically they will take the DNA from these cells and insert the DNA into an egg cell that has its nucleus removed. This so-called fertilized egg cell becomes fertilized and starts growing into an embryo. They then take the embryo and insert it into an elephant. The embryo grows into a baby elephant, is delivered and contains mammoth DNA.
