“Acidosis is a condition in which there is too much acid in the body fluids. It is the opposite of alkalosis (a condition in which there is too much base in the body fluids).

The kidneys and lungs maintain the balance (proper pH level) of chemicals called acids and bases in the body. Acidosis occurs when acid builds up or when bicarbonate (a base) is lost. Acidosis is classified as either respiratory acidosis or metabolic acidosis.

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/001181.htm

Please cite examples of three acids and three bases, and explain the basis for classifying acids and bases.

Your stomach. It secrete hydrochloric acid (HCL). It's a very strong acid and it's used to aid digestion by breaking down foods and also kills bacteria and other nasty bugs.

Your blood. Your body transports carbon dioxide as carbonic acid. This weak acid acts as a buffer.

Your kidneys. They make urine and regulate the level of carbonic acid in your bloodstream.

Your lungs. They are where the soluble carbonic acid in your bloodstream is converted into carbon dioxide gas.

Our body PH is slightly Alkaline in nature that is 7.2 to 7.5 due to that more amount of basic Reserve materials are stored in our body particularly bicarbonate ion and acidic compounds are excreted out through the urine for to maintain low concentration of acidic compounds in blood.
Buffers in our body restrict the PH changes, body have following important buffers, they are
1.Blood buffers:a).Bicarbonate buffer b).Phosphate buffer c).Protein buffer.
2).Respiratory mechanism act as buffer
3). Renal mechanism act as buffer.
In these, blood buffers and Respiratory mechanism give temporary solution to the PH changes where as Renal mechanism give permanent solution by excreting increased amounts of basic and acidic compounds through urine.
The changes in the blood PH mainly depends on diet which we are taking, if we eat more amounts of non veg, it increase acidic compounds and decrease the PH,if we eat more amounts of veg it increase basic compound and increase the PH.

Respiratory mechanism regulate the PH by hyperventilation and hypo ventilation. If the CO2 concentration is more it in turn increase the concentration of corcarbonicid and decrease the PH, for this hyperventilation is the remidy. If the concentration of CO2 is decreased,it in turn decrease the bicarbonate ion concentration due to the low formation of carbonic acid, bicarbonate is very essential for to maintain Alkaline PH of the blood, for this Hypoventilatin is the remedy.Like this respiratory mechanism regulate the PH changes in the blood.
Basing on the above explanation it is clear that PH changes in night and in day time are maintained in a normal way.

But when you love a flower, you water it daily.
