The reaction of powdered aluminium and iron(III) oxide:
2Al + Fe2O3 → Al2O3 + 2Fe

produces so much heat that the iron produced is molten. Railroads use this reaction to produce molten steel to weld rails together when laying tracks.

What weight of iron is produced when 1500 g of Al are mixed with 3000 g of Fe2O3?

this is a limiting reactant problem, so you have to determine which reactant is limiting reactant. and then, you can calculate the mass of Fe based on the limiting reactant (L.R) by following this:
      g L.R->#mole of L.R->#mole of Fe-> g of Fe
