As Henry Higgins wished in My Fair Lady, women have become more like men,
      a.   and these changes have been what men envisioned.
      b.   but these changes have added stress to the lives of both.
      c.   but these changes have not always been in directions that men wanted.
      d.   and the gender roles are now easier for each to follow.
