1) give two examples of pants that have been developed through selective breeding techniques.

Bananas

Bananas are sweet and easy to chew .They are easy to hold as their length and thickness are just right to fit into your hand. All you have to do is to pull the top lightly and the anti-slip skin peels away. But how can such a perfect fruit exist?

In fact, bananas are not naturally made this way. In the wild, bananas are small and oval with thick tough skin peppered with large and hard seeds. You would probably need a sharp tock to peel it and have to keep spitting out the seeds.

However, not all bananas were the same. Some were thinner, some less seedy and some sweeter. Years ago, people collected seeds from sweeter, thinner bananas to breed better bananas suited for human consumption.

The Wild Mustard

In agriculture, superior corn, wheat and soybeans are the result of selective breeding. The Brassicas (cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, collards and kale) are great examples of artificial selection.
