If a person drinks regular large amounts of alcohol but is able to recover quickly and sober enough to carry out work from a demanding job, what does this suggest about the reaction rates (are they fast or slow) of particular isoforms of the two enzymes alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) and aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH) that would be present in the body?
