Anyone can help me this question, please?

Following this question must be more details..

Reflect on the processes of photosynthesis and cellular respiration. Discuss how they are co-dependent on each other and how one would be affected by changes in the other. Discuss how changes to either would affect living things?

Hi,

Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are two processes that depend on each other. Each process makes what the other one needs.

Photosynthesis uses water and carbon dioxide, and it makes glucose and oxygen.
Cellular respiration uses glucose and oxygen, and it makes water and carbon dioxide.

Photosynthesis builds the sugars that cellular respiration breaks down. In breaking down the sugars, cellular respiration makes the smaller molecules that photosynthesis uses to build more sugars.

SIMILARITIES
- Both occur intracellularly.
- Both depend on the exchange of gases via the stomata or lenticels.
- Both are catalyzed by intracellular enzymes.

DIFFERENCE
1) Energy
Aerobic respiration => Liberated in the form of ATP.
Photosynthesis => Stored in carbohydrate molecules.

2) Substrates
Aerobic respiration => C6 H12 O6 and O2
Photosynthesis => CO2 and H2 O

3) Products
Aerobic respiration => CO2, H2 O and energy (2898 kJ)
Photosynthesis => C6 H12 O6 and O2

4) Type of reaction
Aerobic respiration => Catabolic process (breakdown of carbohydrate molecules)
Photosynthesis => Anabolic process (synthesis of carbohydrate molecules)

5) Occurrence
Aerobic respiration => All plant cells at all times, independent of chlorophyll and sunlight.
Photosynthesis => Only in cells containing chlorophyll and in the presence of sunlight.

The body requires o2 to power muscles and to run the energy cycles efficiently that sustain human life through aerobic respiration. We take this o2 from the environment and convert it into usable energy. In photosynthesis plants convert sunlight from the environment into usable energy to fuel their cellular growth thus sustaining plant life and the by product is 02. These are both efficient life systems designed to deliver energy to working cells in plants and animals.

Photosythesis is the means autotrophic organisms use to secure solar energy in the form of glucose. Cellular respiration, however, is the means by which this stored energy is released. The equations are exacty backwards of each other. Photosythesis requires carbon dioxide and water, in the presence of sunlight, and results in oxygen and glucose. Cellular respiration requires oxygen and glucose, and forms the products of carbon dioxide, water, and ATP (energy).

Photosynthesis is the conversion of light energy into chemical energy by living organisms. The raw materials are carbon dioxide and water; the energy source is sunlight; and the end-products are oxygen and (energy rich) carbohydrates, for example sucrose and starch. This process is arguably the most important biochemical pathway, since nearly all life depends on it. It is a complex process occurring in higher plants, phytoplankton, algae, as well as bacteria such as cyanobacteria. Photosynthetic organisms are also referred to as photoautotrophs.

Where Cellular respiration describes the metabolic reactions and processes that take place in a cell or across the cell membrane to obtain biochemical energy from fuel molecules and the release of the cells' waste products. Energy is released by the oxidation of fuel molecules and is stored as "high-energy" carriers. The reactions involved in respiration are catabolic reactions in metabolism.
