the answer is :
2SO2 + 2H2O + O2 = 2H2SO4
you cannot directly get H2SO4 from the combination reaction of SO2 + H2O because SO2 will be further oxidized to SO3 so we can change it to:
SO3 + H2O = H2SO4
and because
SO2 + H2O = H2SO3- + H+   or sulfurous acid + hydrogen ion

2(SO2) + 2(H2O) = 2 (H2SO4)

I agree with "miaka y".  You make SO2 first from

S + O2   = SO2
 Then You make  SO3 from
2SO2  + O2  = 2SO3
 Then you use SO3   in SO3 + H2O = H2SO4.

So, please check your data.
