Al2(SO4)3 +6 NaOH = 2 Al(OH)3 + 3 Na2SO4

moles aluminium sulfate = 1.50 g /342.149 g/mol=0.00438

the ratio between aluminium sulfate and sodium hydroxide is 1 : 6

moles NaOH required = 0.00438 x 6 =0.0263

mass NaOH = 0.0263 mol x 40 g/mol=1.05 g
