Between these 3 universities, I would like to know benefits and cons of each so I can judge on where would be the best to go to for an education and getting a PhD in surgery.

-Keck School of Medicine at USC
-University of California, Irvine
-Stanford University
I guess I mis-wrote the question.

What I meant to ask was which of the 3 schools was best for surgery education.

you don't get a phd in surgery.

you need 4 year bachelor degree
4 years med school (you get an MD or a DO)
5 year surgical residency
