After earning your psychology degree, you can choose from a wide variety of career options. Of course, the specific career you pursue will depend largely on your educational background. Some entry-level jobs are open to those with an undergraduate degree in psychology, while others require advanced or graduate-level study.

The following are just some of the many psychology-related job titles. Some are directly in the field of psychology, while others require additional training in another field or specialty area. In either case, having a solid understanding of the human mind and behavior can be beneficial in any of these careers.

It's another of the "worthless" degrees, and seems oddly popular today (probably because of TV), as it will have supplied you with no viable job skills.

Without a PhD, you will find your opportunities somewhere between slim and none -- being as you will not have the expertise to practice or teach in the field. And other fields, they'd have no interest or need in the so-called skills of wanna-be shrink.

You'll need at least a Masters to work in the field depending on which field you want to go into.

Counselors, therapists, I/O psychologists, school psychologists etc only really a Masters.

What is itg?

@Kyle There is more to psychology than psychotherapy. Your ignorance is astounding

An undergraduate degree in psychology is a great stepping stone to graduate studies, but on its own is not a highly valuable degree. In terms of graduate school, you could get a masters in social work, counseling. act. Generally the best jobs are for people with masters degrees. With just the undergraduate degree, you could possibly find a job working at a rehab as a behavioral health technician or something along those lines.

With any degree, especially a psychology degree. What you do with the degree is the most important. it is always possible to begin climbing the corporate ladder and eventually find yourself with a great job.
