One is an aldo (glucose) whereas the other is a keto group (fructose).

Glucose's carbonyl group is an aldehyde (-COH) which makes it an aldose.
Fructose's carbonyl group is a ketone (-CO-) which makes it a ketose.

They are isomers. Same chemical formula, different  structure. Like stated earlier glucose is an aldo, fructose is a keto
