which sugar(s) would be the best for cellular respiration and why? I think Glucose, fructose, sucrose, and maltose work well, but I just wanted to make sure. If you think it is right, say so and explain why.
If my prediction wasn't right, then pick which one(s) would work the best.

the simplest sugars would work best because that way energy does not have to be expended to break them down into usable forms.  so glucose, galactose, and fructose (all C6H12O6) would easily be broken down during cellular respiration because they are monomers.

probably the monosaccharides, which are glucose (dextrose), fructose, galactose, xylose and ribose because they are simpler to break down

Maltose and sucrose are disaccharides and may be harder to break down because they are a combination of monosaccharides
