In Canada, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child does not have the same status as a Canadian statute.  This could come about if:
   a. the House of Commons and the Senate ratified the agreement
   b. Parliament recognized the Convention as an “interpretive guide”
c. Parliament enacted legislation to explicitly adopt the Convention as having the force of law
d. the Department of Justice adopted the Convention as statute
e. all of the above
