Isolate and solve for r:

(0.30-r)/(r) = (q2)/(q1)

q2 and q1 are known values, so they're not variables.

0.30-r/r = q2/q1
(0.30/r)-1 = q2/q1
0.30/r = (q2/q1)+1
r = (0.30)/((q2/q1)+1)
r = (0.30)/((q2+q1)/q1)
