6. How does extracellular fluid differ from cellular fluid?

Intracellular fluid is fluid INSIDE the cell. You could consider this the contents of the cytosol.

Extracellular fluid is fluid OUTSIDE the cell. In humans this could be interstitial fluid, cerebrospinal fluid, stomach bile, etc.

The concentration gradient between intracellular fluid and extracellular fluid involves the relative concentrations of some (Sodium, Potassium, Calcium, and other) ions, nutrient molecules (glucose, pyruvate), and the abundance of amino acids as compared to completely assembled proteins.
