A rabit, homozygous recessive for white fur, produces a litter of eight bunnies. Four of the bunnies are white and four are black. Determine the genotype of the father.
Please help with the punnett square. Thanks.

the father is heterozygus dominant... you basically can just do it in your head

  bb x Bb = 2Bb, 2bb

B = black fur
b = white fur

homozygous recessive = bb

so you have bb x _ _

Since some babies are black (B _ ) and some are white (bb) the father would have to be able to contribute a B for the black ones, or a b for the white ones. So the father has to be Bb.

You don't need a Punnett square.  This is a classic "who done it?" scenario.
