I'm trying to solve this equation with two equal variables and can't. It is:

d=2(1+bd). I need to solve for D.

Multiply out the right side:

d = 2 + 2bd

Subtract 2bd from both sides:

d - 2bd = 2

Factor the left side:

d(1 - 2b) = 2

Divide both sides by (1 - 2b):

d = 2 / (1 - 2b)
