And how do you find out?
Also:
Rosario is using the periodic table to determine the number of electrons that nitrogen has available for bonding.  Which piece of information is most helpful in answering this question?
A)Mass number
B)group number
C)period number
D)atomic number

A neutral sulfur atom has 6 electrons in its outermost energy level, you can tell this by the group number.

So the answer for the second question would be B.  because the outer electrons are the ones that are available for bonding.
