The local court system in the county where Jack Parsons practices has just implemented an electronic filing system and a document management system, identical to the federal CM/ECF and PACER systems. However, the courts give the attorneys the option of filing electronically, or filing conventional paper documents with the clerk. Jack has never filed anything electronically before, and is cautious about trying this new method. He is about to submit his briefs for a motion for summary judgment that could resolve an important case. He had expressed his concern that once filed, the documents could become "lost" or altered. The court system accepts filing in the PDF/A format. Should Jack file electronically, or use paper? Explain your choice.
