What are the steps to isolate a gene that is introduced in a recessive ts mutant that would then allow the mutant to grow at high temperature on glucose-only plates (it couldn't grow on those plates at that temp. before the gene introduction).

How would I determine if the cloned gene is the wild-type allele of the same gene that ts mutation came from, or if the cloned gene is a different gene?
