If the 6 gallons are 20% salt, then that means 0.2*6 = 1.2 gallons are salt.

You want that 1.2 gallons to be 15% of the final volume.

1.2 = 0.15 V

Solve for V. That's the final volume. Subtract the original 6 gallons to find out how much water to add.
