I'm trying to do a bio lab and it's asking for me to write something using the bases in mRNA and converting it into tRNA? I didn't know there was a difference with the letters?

Ex)
DNA - AAT - mRNA base code ____? tRNA base code_____?

Just took m Honors Bio exam yesterday.  Got an A. We had to do this .  mRNA- UUA tRNA-AAU.
mRNA- Carries the correct codes from the nucleus to the ribosomes.
tRNA- Carries the correct amino acids to the ribosomes to add to the polypeptide chain in translation.  Acts as a translator to identify the codons and anticodons for the amino acids.

From DNA to RNA, G-->C , A-->U, T-->A, and the tRNA base code is the same as that of the DNA's.

ex.
DNA - AAT - mRNA base code: UUA; tRNA base code: AAT
