A codon codes for the same protein no matter what organism it's in. The series of nucleotidesTAC in your DNA and TAC in the DNA of E.coli both code for start or methionine. tRNAs carry anticodons and a specific amino acid.

It means that the genetic code is pretty much the same across all species with a few exceptions in protists and mitochondria.In other words the genetic code could be used to find the corresponding amino acid in any species bc they can make the same amino acids...Trna carries the amino acid to the correct spot on the mrna and it has anticodons.
