Very challenging question here.. I've been researching but can't find the answer.

How much protein can or will one strand of mRNA produce. For example does one mRNA produce 10 protein molecules?  If so then we would need 9 copies to produce 90 protein molecules. Is this example correct? If not what is wrong with it and what is the correct answer?

Thanks

Unfortunately, the life of an mRNA depends on the stability of the mRNA and the expression of initiation factors that block degradation enzymes.  The turnover depends on cellular conditions, including the equilibrium that exists between bound and unbound mRNA.  Humans can't do anything with genetics without being super complicated =(
