I know that within a cell there are Postassium, Sodium, Chloride and anions in it. I know that potassium and sodium act as a pump to keep an action potential moving down the cells neuron under the myelin sheath and that three sodium ions are exchanged for 2 postassium ions in the pump as it moves. But what is the job of the Chloride and Anions?Neutral Face

Cl (chloride) as well as anions are the part of neural regulation. they move alongwith Na and K so as to balance the equilibrium (excitability) and membrane potential of the membrane!
so Cl and anions are imp. part alongwith Na and K!
