What are the answers to the activity questions.
Activity 1
1) did any solutes move through the 20 MWCO membrane? Why or why not?
2) Did Na+ CL- move through the 50 MWCO membrane?
3) Describe how the size of a molecule (Molecular weight ) affects the rate of diffusion.
4) What Happened to the rate of diffusion when you increased the NA+CL- solute concentration?
If any one has all of the answers from all of the activity's and the review for exercise 1 for Physio ex 9.0. Greatly appreciated !!!

Increasing the size of the solute slowed down the rate of diffusion.

No, none of the solutes tested passed through the 20 MWCO membrane. They were all too large.
