I forgot how to find the slope of a line. Here is the problem, (-1,0), (0,-5). When you are done please explain to me how you found the answer. I need to write an extended response on how I found my answer!

To find the slope, use (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1). This is the formula to find rise over run.

x1 = -1
x2 = 0
y1 = 0
y2 = -5

(-5 - 0) / (0 - -1)
-5/1 = -5

Hope this helps!
