If no one with the recessive disease is allowed to reproduce for 100 years, what will be the frequency of the recessive allele? (Assume random mating and a generation time of 20 yrs)
 q=0.005477 & p=0.9945

Am I right in thinking to use this equation Rightwards Arrow q after "n" generations= (original q) / (1+ n generations  x initial q) ?

yes you are correct.

After one generation q' = q/1+q since the homozygous recessive is 100% selected against.   Expanding this out over several generations, the equation reduces to qn=q/(1+(n*q))
