A hiker falls down a slope. His injuries resulted in internal bleeding. Initially his blood pressure fell to low levels, stabilized, but continued to fall to very low levels. His life was saved throught the efforts of paramedics. Which of the statement(s) is (are) consistent with the observation?

A) Negative feedback mechanisms can be inadequate without medical        intervention

B) Positive feedback was primarily responsible for the continued fall in blood pressure

C) Both and A and B
D) Neither A or B
