MASS g of unknown atom x (?) x (6.02 x 10^23 atoms/ 1 mol) = 2.01 × 1023 atoms

Now solve for (?).

(2.01 × 1023 atoms) / (29.3 x 6.02 x 10^23 atoms) =

avogadro's number 6.02 x 10^23 atoms per mole of an element, each element then has a certain amount of grams per mole, allowing for a mass to atom or atom to mass conversion.

Mass -> atoms

Mass (g) / Atomic mass of element (g/mol) * N (atoms/mol)

g * (g/mol) * (6.022x10^23 atoms/mol) = atoms
