KMnO4 + HCl Rightwards Arrow Cl2 + KCl + H2O + MnCl2

I'm having a very difficult time figuring out the oxidation and reduction equations. I have already identified the which is being oxidized and which is being reduced, but what next?

Balance everything except of H and O.  Once that is done, balance H and O by adding water as needed.  Check the balance again.  Add e- to balance charges.  The e- should be the same on both sides - cancel them out.

I never liked redox reactions but still I have tried to balance the equations by simple method. The equation is:-
2KMnO4 + 8HCl --------> Cl2 + 2KCl + 4H2O + 2MnCl2 + 2O2
I m not so good in Chemistry. I did this just by checking number of atoms on Left Hand Side and Right Hand Side.start with number of 'K', the n 'Mn' and so on.
