Abbrev E.C: [Ar] 3d1, 4s2.

On losing 3 electron, Scandium has an E.C: 1S2, 2S2, 2p6, 3s2, 3p6 which is similar to Argon, an Inert gas. Sc+3 is the most common one while it also has Sc+2 and Sc+1.
