Parents : AA (homozygous dominant)  &  aa (homozygous recessive)
.F1 :

__  A        A
a      Aa     Aa
a      Aa     Aa

=> 100% Aa

.F2 : (crossing F1 with F1)

__ A       a
A    AA     Aa
a     Aa     aa

=>  50% Aa
      25 % AA
      25% aa

This is called a test cross.It is normally used to figure out the parents genotype by observing the F2 generation's phenotype.
