The further away something is, the smaller it appears.
Angular size is a fancy way of saying how big something appears to be.
When an object is near us there is a big angle between its 2 sides.
When it is far away the angle is smaller

So the answer is a.

answer A is correct.  this is true of all things (unless their actual size changes)
